After I had gone broke the first time, I booked myself into a hotel room. I wanted to spend a day away from computers, away from my phone, away from people, away from THINGS.

I needed to think. I was scared. I had no money left. I had a huge mortgage payment every month. I would default on the next payment. I would never be able to make a payment again. I had one kid and another kid on the way.

Just two years earlier, even a year earlier, I had $15 million in the bank. The night before, I looked at my balance on the ATM machine. I had $143 left. I started to cry. There was nobody to blame. …

I’m scared. 80,000,000 people are going to be upset tonight no matter who wins the election.

Buildings are boarded up in every major city. Riot gear is being handed out. Security companies are being hired to add protection. Celebrities are going to move to Canada for the 20th election in a row.

The #1 stress being discussed in psychologist’s offices is “political stress”. You cannot help solve the problems we are in if you are anxious or stressed. You cannot be rational if you are not taking care of yourself physically, emotionally, creatively. …

My first instinct last night at the debate I was participating in was to play a joke and ruin the whole debate:

Just RUIN it.

Here’s how:

A) The guy debating me would state his argument

B) I would say immediately, “You know what, you’re absolutely right. You convinced me. “ and then I would just click away.

Ruin the whole show. Shock and awe. And it seemed funny to me.

My article, “NYC is Dead Forever: Here’s Why” was read by over 30,000,000 people.

I can add together the number of people who read it on the various platforms plus the results from all the shares and I actually come up with a much higher number. But I want to be conservative.

It was painful. I calculated that about 95% of readers liked it or were ok with my stance and enjoyed it. But about 5% violently hated it.

That’s about 1,500,000 people hated it. Hated me. For the first three weeks afterward about 10 tweets a second were trashing me. Today people trashed me, over two months later. …

“Why are people so racist against Green people?”

The two producers on the Zoom call were not sure what I was asking about. The audio engineer had muted himself. The other audio engineer was confused because he didn’t grow up in this country.

Even David Banner, known for being a rapper but also an activist, was silent.

“Like the Hulk,” I said, “From the TV show. You picked his name. The Hulk is green.”

“Ahh,” he said, and he laughed. He took the name David Banner 25 years ago for his first album. Named himself after The Hulk.

Named after the lonely hitchhiker who just wanted a break from his troubles. Just wanted to be normal and hide. But he couldn’t. …

I’ve watched the proceedings on Amy Barrett. Normally I would never watch this for obvious reasons. They are super boring.

But, as is common in American politics lately, these proceedings are hilarious.

I’ve never seen an improv group as good as these Senators.

They basically can KILL for eight straight hours. Democrats and Republicans. What talent! What wit!

Senator Hirono asking her if Barrett’s ever settled a sexual harassment case against her. Or the dozens of pictures about the Affordable Healthcare Act.

[NOTE: without a judge to break ties, the ACA provision in question is ALREADY dead in the circuit court. That’s WHY it has made its way to the Supreme Court. …

Loraine wrote, “Shame on you, you are the example of ignorance with a platform to express your ignorance.”

I don’t know who she is. But after I wrote my recent article, “Why I Won’t Vote”, she was upset at me:

She wrote:

“We MUST vote to ensure our country’s freedom. You are encouraging to enable the current president’s dictator mind. Shame on you, you are the example of ignorance with a platform to express your ignorance.”

It’s good to be a skeptic. But if you are a true skeptic then most of all you have to be skeptical of yourself. …

I’m not going to vote. I’ve never voted in a Presidential election. And in the 34 years that I’ve been allowed to vote, I’ve only voted in two local elections. Once in 1991 and once in 2004.

I’ve been vote shamed all of my life. It’s part of the American religion that if you don’t vote, then you are a bad person.

Right now the country is filled with hate on both sides. I do a variety of activities that help people. But when you get in the mud with a pig the pig gets happy and you get dirty. …

Scientists and companies are creating vaccines, creating solar panels with four times the efficiency of current solar panels, are making rockets, and creating genomics solutions that can cure thousands of major diseases.

Let’s not stop them. Innovation-ism is the core philosophy that creates jobs, solves climate change, creates better healthcare, creates less infant mortality, etc. Government does none of this.

You either send goods over borders or bullets. And as America is more and more prosperous, it becomes more likely we trade goods rather than bullets. And as more innovations result, more job opportunities are created.

People say this is an important election. I’ve never voted in a Presidential election (the only two times I voted were in 1991 and 2004.)

Even when I say the above, many people vote-shame me. “If you don’t use your voice then you shouldn’t speak ever!” or “Silence is Violence!”

That’s not true. Silence does not equal violence. There are many things more important than politics. And I use my voice in many ways that I think are more valuable than a vote.

Don’t be addicted to anger when discussing issues important to you.

But, that said, I wanted to really understand the issues. And the best way to do that is to REMOVE THE PERSONALITIES from the equation and focus on the “-ISMS”. …
